Role: Communications & Social Media Whizz


Fancy yourself a bit of wordsmith? Love a good pun? Know the difference between ‘your’ and ‘you’re’? Then you’re just who we’re looking for! You will be responsible for putting your knack for communications to use in bringing the voice of our client platforms and our platforms to life. Alongside making all internal and client comms pop, you'll get to try a wide range of marketing activities, as well as play an important role in the ongoing development of our business. We expect the role will grow as you do. It sounds like a cliche, but as we are still small enough to be incredibly agile, the sky really is the limit. About us: We were born out of a desire to help emerging brands grow up big and strong by providing innovative, creative & results-driven marketing. We’ve gone from humble beginnings working off laptops in our bedrooms, to having a tight-knit team with a great set-up in our vibrant Central City office. We’re a fun, young and flexible bunch, who love working with passionate businesses of all sizes. About you:

  • Recent graduate, or up to 3 years experience in a marketing-related role, or looking to switch to a career in marketing

  • Possess the ‘gift of the gab’ - words are your thang

  • Enthusiasm and the willingness to learn

  • Proactive team player with strong initiative and self-management skills

  • Able to work remotely on occasion

  • Strong people skills, you could have a yarn to anyone about anything, and make them feel at ease

  • Familiarity with Mailchimp, Klayvio and/or other email marketing platforms

  • Experience using Canva, with Adobe Suite being an added bonus

  • Experience creating social media content and planning social media campaigns (with a particular focus on Facebook Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok)


Additional skills that would be beneficial:

  • Working knowledge of SEO practices

  • Experience working with common website platforms e.g. Wordpress, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix etc.

  • Experience with Influencer management or outreach

  • Experience with facilitating organic growth on social media platforms


About the role:

  • 30+ hours per week, with the potential to increase as the business grows

  • Copywriting & creative strategy for social media, email newsletters, advertising campaigns, blogs and websites

  • Social media content creation across a range of platforms and formats, such as Reels/TikToks, designed posts, videos and photos, on both client and our channels

  • Engagement across client and our social media platforms

  • Support the directors with any administrative duties or errands where required
